The property was opposite Banner Cross Chapel. Today (2001) the site is occupied by Gilders, the motor dealers. The tram terminus was outside the house. Mrs. Jinkinson who lived in the cottage used to supply the tram staff with tea. The property belonged to the Duke of Norfolk. |
